2000年にスタートした『ミスターハリウッド』、当時はまだ現住所ではなく原宿のキャットストリート沿いの

3Fに出店されてました。当時からかなりの人気がありましたね。

2002年にはＴＯＫＹＯコレクションにデビューしてます。

古いものに新しい価値感を加えて、全く別のものを作り出すといったコンセプト。

古着のリメイクというとＵＳ(アメリカ)サイドのイメージが強いと思いますが

ミスターハリウッドの洋服はどちらかというとEU(ヨーロッパ)サイドのジャストなサイジングを

意識した作りになっていると思います。

ブランド力の高さから有名人でご愛用されてる方も多数いらっしゃいます。

絶対に通りがかってショッピング出来る立地ではありませんが常に店内はお客さんで溢れている。

 ←表参道ヒルズの裏の一本入った所の突き当たりにあります。

メインストリートは海外ＤＣブランドで軒を連ねている一方で

こういったショップが裏通りで活躍出来る事からも本物のアパレルショップではないでしょうか？

1F: Mr. Hallywood
Mr. Hollywood had opened by a designer, Daisuke Ogata in 2000.
At the time, the shop was located at Cat Street and was already popular.
The brand concept is to see a new value in the old items and recreate
totally different products. The image of used clothes had been American
style to us but Mr. Hollywood’s are more like European style that is made
to just fit nicely. Now the store is located at less crowded street so
that it may not be a shop to attract random window shoppers. However,
the shop is always filled with customers despite the fact the shop is
located one block behind the famous shopping building with world wide
famous brands, Omotesando Hills. This proves that the real shop like
Mr. Hollywood doesn't need to be located at the decent location to keep
the business going.
